Write the Vision Plain

I know you have a dream inside, you can visualize it in your heart and mind, but can't figure out how to make it a reality.  Well, in the bible there is a book Habakkuk, and in chapter two starting at verse two, it gives clarity on how to manifest your vision. It tells us to write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, "wait for it; Because it will surely come. It will not tarry. So, what this is telling us is that we must write our dream or vision clearly- so plainly that you, or anyone who reads it can understand it.  These verses offers strategy and clarity for how to succeed.  You must believe that what you desire will come to pass at the appointed time. When it says " though it tarries"  it  means it will come, not at your timing, but according to God's. So you never give up, and don't  grow weary while you wait. Follow the steps and you won't  go wrong: write it, make it simple, be patient, and it will come to pass.

Prayer Changes Things

Ladies, it doesn't matter what you are going through, prayer changes everything. We will sit in our uncertainty, hurt, pain, and cloudiness of what we are facing, and try to figure it out on our own. When all we have to do is pray. If you feel you have no control over what you are dealing with, just find a quiet place and open your heart to God, He's waiting to give you clarity and direction. Have a beautiful weekend.

Do you find yourself detached, indifferent, numb, lifeless, lonely, emotionally unavailable? This is not uncommon especially in relationships. Love is poured into us by God, when we receive His gift to us Jesus Christ, He then pours His love into our hearts.  There is no other way to receive love except from the gift God. He is love. We can't create love, we don't have the power to do so. We can only accept it as a gift from God, then we can share the love we have within us with others. True love can only be shared when you have received Jesus. I hope that makes sense, so if you can't love, it's not because of someone else it's because of the state of your heart. Take time to ask yourself, do you have a sign over your heart open or closed. Have you received God's gift Jesus Christ? Seek and search yourself to know your truth. Life is so much better when the open sign is hanging. 

Living Transformed: A Believer's Journey

Romans 12: reminds us not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will. 

The scripture above gives us clear direction how we are to live as believers. We are not to conform to the pattern of this world we are in it, but we are not of this world. Though we live in it, we are not of it. Instead we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. This transformation begins when we receive a new life in Christ- by receiving Him as our Lord and Savoir.  That is the only way our minds can truly be renewed. 

We are born into the world,  and as we grow and see through our natural eyes, we begin to conform to what appears to be normal around us.  For those who choose not to receive Jesus Christ, that worldly pattern feels natural. But for the believer everything changes once we accept Him.  We begin studying the word, surrounding ourselves with other like-minded Christians, and building a support system for our spiritual journey. With a renewed mind, we can live our best life. One filled with purpose, peace and clarity. We have a manual -the Bible- that offers direction,  guidance, and clarity for both our hearts and minds. And we can trust and believe this truth: We are never alone trying to figure life out.

1 Corinthians chapter 1 speaks of the greatest gift there is, and that is love. You can speak in tongues, but have no love, and you become just  sounding brass or clanging cymbals. You can have faith that can move mountains, but without love you have nothing. You can feed the poor, but without love you still have nothing. Love suffers long, it's kind, it doesn't envy, and the point is that you perform any work you want, say anything you want, but if love is not present it all means nothing. So, spread a little love today, abide in faith, have hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love. (paraphrase)

In the book of Philippians 4:6 We are instructed not to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by supplication and prayer, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Are you anxious for anything today? Don't worry, give it to God, ask him for whatever you need and allow him to give you what you need. I know sometimes it seems like no matter how you look at things, it won't be alright. But God is so compassionate, He desires to give you what you need. You can trust in His word, and know for sure that every word is true. I want to suggest if you are tired of trying to figure things out, go to God his yoke is easy and He will give you rest, but you must trust God, and let Him know what you need. In doing that you let Him know you believe in what you know to be true, but can't be seen. I pray peace for you today!

It's hard to know who you are if you are looking in the wrong place. If we go back to the beginning in Genesis, looking at Abraham's life it's amazing he was ninety-nine years old, and God still used him. He would become the father of many nations to include Jews and Gentiles. God had a plan for his life before he was conceived, and what that tells me is that God knew him and had a plan for his life before he was born.  God also has a plan for your life, it doesn't matter your age, your class in society, the color of your skin, or the amount of money in your bank account. If you are in a situation right now, you can't figure out what you are supposed to be doing, or your purpose in life, you first need to pray, ask God why are you feeling this way at this time. When you are experiencing storms in life, or feeling stuck change is taking place in your life. This is only a moment in time, it won't last forever so don't get stuck. Remember Jerimiah 29:11 God knows the plans he has for you, but sometimes you have to go through the storm to once again see the sunshine. Reflect over your journey this far, write down the pros and cons you've experienced. Get started by starting somewhere.

God uses his people in the world to  be His hands, heart, and love. By grace we have been saved for His purpose. There's a lot of sin in the world, and God has given many opportunities for us to repent (meaning to turn away from sin that is killing us).  Sin leads to death there is no doubt.  Not physical, but spiritual. Have you ever been in a situation of sin, and you knew it was a sin, but you stayed in it? What did it lead to? Eventually, what is done in the dark comes to the light. At that time, the sin usually doesn't just destroy you, but it destroys others as well. Innocent bystanders who was in the dark, but not by choice. 

God uses the lives of His people to help, and to offer hope. You might have a conversation with someone who has no idea what you are doing, but that person brings a word to you out of nowhere. You might ponder on it for a while,  that is God allowing you to think about what you are doing, and offers an opportunity to repent. We have all sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God, there is no perfect person on the earth.

God takes His people through different situations so they can understand with empathy what another person in sin might be going through. We all have a purpose, and If we have never gone through anything, or tempted, how could we ever help someone else. God sent Jesus to the earth to die for our sins, so that we would have everlasting life through Him. He came to save the world, not condemn the world. His desire is that you should have everlasting life, not everlasting condemnation! So, if you are trying to get out of a sinful situation, it's easy, just ask Jesus into your life, and ask for forgiveness, and you will be forgiven.  

I pray strength for you today, I pray that whatever you might be going through you will be delivered, there is no reason you should live your life in bondage or captivity!! Be blessed.

Today, I want to talk about the benefits of giving and receiving. In 2 Corinthians 8:12-14, 12 tells us to give whatever is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. 13 Our desires should not be to relieve others while we are hard pressed, but that there is equality. 14 If you have plenty right now,  you can supply the need for someone, and in turn, when you are being generous in your abundance, someone will be your supply when you are in need.  

Thought: Sometimes, it's hard to decide if we should help someone or not, but the answer is, "yes,"  if you have something you can help someone in need with, then by all means, help. In doing so, when you are in need, you will have someone to supply you with your need. The time to give is not when you really don't have something to give, you don't want to put yourself in a bad situation while giving to others. God will honor your willingness to help those in need, but he also wants you to be a good steward over what you have. If it's hard at the time for you not to give, make it easy on yourself by saying, " I'm so sorry, I wish I could help you right now, but honestly, I don't have it to give." That's where it ends.  You're compassionate to their need, you  kindly explained why you can't help.
